Ve Neill in action, courtesy of SyfyFace Off transforms reality by creating a competition/elimination series exploring the world of special effects make-up artists and seeing how perception can be distorted. Every week contestants will be challenged and pushed to create cutting edge makeup design culminating in one winner for one grand prize that will launch a career in professional makeup.Syfy has signed McKenzie Westmore to host with three accomplished veteran judges:Three time Oscar winner Ve Neill (Pirates of the Caribbean, Edward Scissorhands), Glenn Hetrick (Heroes, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The X-Files) and Patrick Tatopoulos (Underworld, Independence Day, Resident Evil: Extinction), and a wide array of dynamic contestants.Below is a thirty second spot launching the original series, Face Off. It will take you through the sequence of developing a young female actress into an alien, older woman, or even a man.
